Captain`s Log Day 1
After an 18 month delay, the boys are back on tour.
As a change, we entered the Pro's Open for no extra cost, with Butch, Dai the Dart and Regano earning a sleeve of balls each for scoring a 2!- Regano went one better with nearest the pin earning a voucher to play Oake Manor, somewhere in the area! Congrats to them.
Butch also made a significant move with 39 on the first day. Can anyone catch him? Or can the Captain restrain him with more handicap cuts?
East Devon tomorrow and fingers crossed for more fair weather.

Captain`s Log Day 2
Another bright and sunny (occasionally) day greeted the boys in Budleigh Salterton. The heather accented rough soon took a forboding turn as the wind picked up and balls went AWOL. The pack closed in on Butch with Regano making a key move. Belly pork at the club followed by a magic show brought the day to a memorable close.

Captain's Log - Day 3
Onward to Lyme Regis, with some tourists spending the morning combing the coast for fossils. Another fine day greeted the last chance to move before the final round inspiring some impressive scoring. Tudor made a timely appearance to post a substitute score for the Hooker suffering with his back. A fish supper with sticky toffee pudding brought a perfect day (for some) to a close.

Captain's Log - Day 4
And yet another dry day at Woodbury Park, but a delay for fog held back the start of the final round. With Butch putting his foot down with a crew from England trying to queue jump, the boys were off only 1 hour late. A tight match between the defending champion and your Captain finally turned in favour of your Captain on the 18th, with Dai the Dart grabbing a birdie for the birdie prize and just missing 2nd place by 1 shot! Both Mr Toffee and H Hooker were unable to play and took their best scores from the average of others. The bar has been set high for North Wales Llandudno with some changed courses set for May 2022. All eyes now move to Green Meadows and the Championship showdown between Butch and Dai the Dart following the Ryder Cup as warm up.
